Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this seminar, the geomorphic process "Landslides" will be addressed from a variety of perspectives. This includes terminologies, definitions and the fundamental principles as well as field investigations, object-based and spatial modelling and risk analysis. Furthermore, data bases, disasterm anagement and risk governance options will be covered.
All topics will be presented as oral opresentations in German.

Assessment and permitted materials

The contribution combines the preparation of the topic, its oral presentation, the written essay and the continuing participation on the discussions.
